The initial concept of Creative Minds (cM) began as early as 2011, when a group of middle school friends in Charlotte spent countless hours playing video games together. Coming from different backgrounds, we shared ideas, creativity, and a vision that stuck with us even as life pulled us in different directions. No matter what we were doing, we always made time to reconnect—and the idea of Creative Minds never left.

On May 11, 2017, the very first Creative Minds logo (V1) was created, featuring a brain to represent imagination and creativity. A few years later, on February 21, 2021, we updated it to V2, a sharper take on the brain concept. However, just days later, on February 25, 2021, the initial sketch of V3 shifted to a crown logo to represent Charlotte, the city we all spent the majority of our lives in. By March 12, 2021, the current version of the Creative Minds crown logo was finalized.

After years of ideas, sketches, and growth, everything came full circle. On September 12, 2025, we officially launched Creative Minds Wear, a Charlotte-based brand built to share our creativity and love for the Queen City with the world.
